The drive was about 10 hours, but 12 hours with some stops along the way. We passed the time listening to books on CD. As you can tell, Renee likes tie-dye shirts! We traveled to the tournament with our trailer in tow. Inside was our robot, Crusader. The robot survived the trip with no injuries. We later learned that the Steel Hornet's (FTC 118) robot had been damaged during shipment. They rebuilt the robot in the hotel. We admire their determination as they attempted to return their robot to its previous level of performance while performing in the qualifying matches.
We arrived at the hotel and were happy to stretch our legs.
Our hotel room was just large enough for all six of us.
