This is a 4-wall, 4-segment, 8-count dance. Each step is show below from the front.
Step your right foot forward.
Step your left foot forward.
Step your right foot forward, rocking your body weight onto your right foot on beat 3&.
Step back onto your left foot.
Step back with your right foot.
Step back with your left foot.
Step your right foot backward, rocking your body weight onto your right foot on beat 7&.
Bring your body wight forward onto your left foot.
Chasse right (step to the right on 1, bring your left foot together with your right on 1&,
ending the step on beat 2 by moving your right foot to the right). It is step, hop, step.
Place your weight on your right foot.
Rock backwards onto your left foot. This picture doesn't show the move well. The whole body
should sway backwards more than shown.
Bring your weight back onto your right foot.
Chasse left (step to the left on 5, bring your right foot together with your left on 5&,
ending the step on beat 6 by moving your left foot to the left). It is step, hop, step.
Place your weight on your left foot.
Rock backwards onto your right foot. This picture doesn't show the move well either. The
whole body should sway backwards more than shown.
Bring your weight back onto your left foot.
The next four beats is a jazz box. Bring your right foot in front of your left.
Step your left foot to the left and still behind you.
Bring your right foot back and in line with your left.
Bring your left foot to your right foot.
The next four beats is a jazz box with a turn. Bring your right foot in front of your left as
before, but turn it so your body will begin to face the right wall.
Bring your left foot around and land it behind the right foot.
Bring your right foot back and in line with your left.
Bring your left foot to your right foot. This completes the jazz turn. Notice that you are
now facing a new wall.
Turn your body left, bringing your right foot forward for a chasse forward. On beat 1, do the
hop/step -- bring your left foot to your right foot, and hop, landing with your left foot where
your right foot used to be and your right foot one step in front of you.
Bring your weight onto your right foot, and begin to swivel on your right foot.
Bring your left foot around on beat 3. Swivel both feet on beat 3&.
Place your weight on your right foot.
This is another chasse forward. Step your left foot forward. Hop/step by bringing your right
foot to your left and moving your left forward.
This is the end of the chasse forward. Swivel your left foot slightly, so your body will begin
to turn back to the left wall (the wall at the end of the jazz turn above).
Bring your right foot around and behind your left foot. On beat 7&, swivel to the left.
Place your weight on your left foot in preparation for repeating the dance.
