This is the dance that motivated us to learn all of the other dances that we know. Renee
learned this dance at a summer camp. Laura learned it for the pictures below.
This is a 4-wall, 2-segment, 8-count dance. Each step is show below from the front.
Tap your right toes in front of you.
Repeat step one; tap your right toes in front of you.
Tap your right toes behind you.
Repeat step three; tap your right toes behind you.
Tap your right toes to the right.
Raise your right foot to your left hand; touch your left hand to your right foot.
Tap your right toes to the right.
Raise your right foot to your left hand, but this time bring it behind you; touch your left
hand to your right foot.
Step to the right.
Step again to your right by bringing your left foot behind you.
Step to the right again with your right foot.
Bring your left foot to your right foot (i.e. step together), and clap at the same time.
Step to the left, turning your left foot to the left as you do it.
Bring your right foot around, turning it to the left. At this point you are mostly facing the
opposite wall.
Bring your left foot around, again turning to the left. At this point you are facing a new
wall.
Bring your feet together turning a little more to the left (your left foor will need to swivel
slightly). You are now facing the opposite wall from the previous step. Beats 5-8 accomplish
one and a quarter turns.
If you want, you can swing an arm in the air as if you are lassoing for beats 5-8.
